The best was the random dance party that erupted after a camp wide match of capture-the-flag. A unit head asked one of my campers, Andy, why he wasn't dancing with everyone: he responded that the scene looked like the end of a happy movie.
One of the reasons why today was successful was that a lot of the programming was out of Ryan and my hands. We got to accompany our kids around to different things (lake, shabbat prep, carmel swim, free swim) that other people led for us, so we were able to just enjoy them.
