Art terms aren't the type of thing I know much about. Though this writing here explains "impressionism" and "realism" (putting them in quotes shows my discomfort) and how they go to explain different blogging styles.
An impressionist blog is writing that adds to what's out there, more likely personal in content: like Jeremy Blachman's blog.
A realist blog is self-explanatory and contained, forming a complete thought on its own: like the technology blog Lifehacker.
Tres interesante, no? The writing in this blog is something extra-special, I'd say about: realpressionism. Tres bien, no? Messin.
