Radiohead: In Rainbow's

You ought to have heard about how Radiohead chose to release their recent album. Currently it is available to download from their website in entirety; you choose how much to pay for it. This has been big news, because Radiohead is allegedly the best band in the world. So it was released in its own way on the October tenth, and I downloaded it this morning, and I like it. I payed zero dollars for it, which I found interesting, as no credit card information was requested.

Radiohead has the ability to inspire weird music writing, whereby people feel obligated to praise aspects of Radiohead as if it is art, different from how we normally absorb popular music. Nevertheless, I find myself feeling the same. Number seven, "Reckoner", is the first track to get me big time. Go try it, downloads as a zip file. Radiohead.com

You are getting something of value from an artist who puts hard work and masterful skill into what they release. The fact that you would take it for free when they are asking you to pay what you choose, is appalling. Nice way to let them know you appreciate their work! I hope you're proud. Go take more stuff that enhances your life and not pay anything for it... You probably already have.
