At least in some circles, i.e. Ashevilletown, a phrase like the title of this post holds some sort of cultural currency. I think life can seem really delicate and, and by looking at things as it is, I think that's a phrase from some book, poor grammar and all. But that is how life is, hard to get ahold of, changing, semi-tragic.
By understanding it life actually gains in meaning. Because things like traditions come to life, seen in the light of everyone facing the same changing existence, and this thing has survived through all the mess of history. I don't know, traditions, customs, beliefs, it must be a Passover thing..
