My grandpa and grandma lived behind a Meijer (heaven for grandpa, but another story) in front of which there is an eight store strip mall. Across the road is a much larger strip mall with about twenty outlets.
Not counting those in recent memory which opened then shuttered, way more than half weren't open. I biked around.
Two coffee shops I used to visit: closed
Italian restaurant: closed
"Tango" dance club: closed
Mexican/Smoothie restaurant where a friend previously worked: closed
Indian grocery store: closed
Haggerty pizza: closed
Michigan is closed for business!
