My friend Hun Lye commented that I need to update; and it is true, I need to update my blog. I've thought recently about how we Americans waste our money because we don't live straightforward lives. So while admiring different people (The French! are so leisurely; The Chinese! are on the next fronteir; The Swedish! they are so efficient) we still buy our huge SUVs and its equal the huge house.
And then we're uncomfortable with spending our money for good meals, good lunches and dinner, and we have this basic dichotomy that follows us around.
