I like idealism, because it is so unlike how the world is.
To me idealism is keeping one idea of 'how things are', and not letting go of it.
Why is this a positive thing? Because it is so much better than the other options that are available. And it's an expresson of self-belief.
Other choices - the world is selfish, and chaotic, and ungraspable. No way!
I'll take it the way I have it now, which is not at all perfect, but is perfectly, absolutely idealistic. If you'll have it that way, then be idealistic too, and perhaps if we work hard enough make the world less selfish, chaotic, and ungraspable.
Blogging is just the act of putting down thoughts.
